With authoritative and unpublished works on the market,

also the sector dedicated to the old masters drawings and prints is presented to the public through an extremely wide temporal coverage, in the same April appointment (more precisely on 12 April 2022). A very detailed and large collection in the technical repertoire, boasts in the catalogue presences of the calibre of Albrecht Dürer whose woodcut of the Apocalypse series (lot 119, estimate € 3.000 - 4.000), animated by allegorical characters, alongside rare artist prints published by French periodical L'Estampe Original, between 1893 and 1895: a truly niche collection, considering the quarterly edition of only 100 copies of this editorial product, in which about 70 French artists among the most illustrious ones of the period were involved.




Lot 119_Albrecht Durer (Norimberga  1471 - 1528)
The four angels staying the winds from the series "Apocalypse with pictures",

Among the most outstanding works in the catalogue: the iconic Les Deux Baigneuses by Pierre-Auguste Renoir (lot 120, estimate € 6.000 - 8.000), the genre scene entitled Le Bain by Félix Vallotton (lot 126, estimate € 10.000 - 12.000) and La Vitrioleuse in Art Nouveau style by Eugène Samuel Grasset (lot 125, estimate: € 1.000 - 1.500).
