DUCHAMP, Marcel (1887-1968) - MAN RAY [Emmanuel Radnitzky] (1890-1976) - Il Reale Assoluto. Milan: Galleria Schwarz, 1964. Copy n. 29 from an edition of 125 signed by Marcel Duchamp, Man Ray and Arturo Schwarz, sold together with two original lithographs signed by Man Ray, which were then used as reproductions in the book. A volume in its original box and 2 original litographs, folio (327 x 255mm). The original lithographs are in very good conditions, signed in pencil by Man Ray and numbered "IIII2" and "S-IIII2"; they are preserved in a modern folder stating in ink [and partially crossed out] "Paris. Plates to be signed by Man Ray - Man Ray for Reale Assoluto". The book, in perfect conditions, contains (with some discrepancies to what is mentioned in the colophon) 9 full-page reproductions, 2 en suite plates preserved in a Japan paper folder and one other plate in the form of a certificate signed by Duchamp. In its original red and black cloth container (lightly rubbed). Because of the complexity of the work, which was issued in many different states, the books is sold as described and therefore not subject to return. (3)
