DUCHAMP, Marcel (1887-1968) - Arturo SCHWARZ (n. 1924) - The Large Glass and Related Works, Volumi I-II. Milan: Galleria Schwarz, 1967-68. The original edition signed by Marcel Duchamp and Arturo Schwarz. The work in 2 volumes is printed on handmade paper specially manufactured by Filicarta of Cologno Monzese, and limited to 150 copies signed by the artist and the author of which this is copy n. 104. The text is in Bembo type, printed by Ruggero Olivieri in Milan. The facsimile notes were printed in the lithographic plant of Altiero Silva. The etchings were pulled on the handpress of Giorgio Upiglio in Milan and the copper plates were barred after the printing was completed in 1967-68. In mint condition and still contained in their original wooden boxes designed for transportation. 2 volumes, folio (425 x 260mm). Each volume with 9 etchings, one with red colouring and 2 double-page. Both volumes with loose sheets as issued, vol. I contained in original paper cover and white fabric-covered boards with printed spine and plexiglas slipcase with Large Glass reproduced in color on the front; vol. II in original orange linen-covered boards and slip case. Original wooden boxes.
