The Spring auction of Vintage Fashion to be held on May 18 late in the afternoon at Palazzo Crivelli, will feature 30 carefully selected lots among the legacies of important Italian ladies of the industrial, cultural and entertainment milieu: cult bags in the most prestigious leathers, scarves, custom jewellery, ties and evening gowns. It is a 'careful selection offered to our customers and to lovers of luxury, a "cameo" that concludes the session dedicated to the most important jewels, in which other masters of style such as Cartier and Bulgari will precede the masters of fashion design.
Among the "cult dresses" there are two elegant "ROSSO VALENTINO" evening gowns, masterpieces of our fashion guru, that represent the charm and class of one of the biggest creative couturiers of the last century; the timeless style of COCO CHANEL is represented in this auction by jewelry and dresses, including a beautiful lavander silk organdy skirt.
By Hermès, as well as the Birkin and Kelly cult bags, the Constance and Bolide will go under the hammer along with scarves, ties and custom jewellery.
The cool bags of Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint Laurent and Italy's Roberta di Camerino underscore this outstanding selection of accessories.
The link between Jewels and Vintage Fashion is represented in this sale by eighty lots of jewels once belonging to fashion designer Mariuccia Mandelli aka Krizia which convey the idea that a precious object may distinguish an identity and a creative personality.
